L700 super bright e-bike light. 36V 700 lumens
The L700 is a 700 lumen front light that runs off a 36V e-bike battery. 700 lumen means really, really bright. Our standard 36V Spanninga e-bike light is 40 lumen and is already better than what you get on most e-bikes out there. A similar super bright bicycle light costs around $200 and would require you to charge its battery every week and take the thing on and off all the time in case of theft. With an e-bike battery on board you don't have either of those problems.
It's an absolute joy to ride a bike with a super bright light in all situations. It's a must for riding in Sydney traffic, helping keep you safer from half-blind, sleeping motorists cutting you off at roundabouts. In quieter areas it lets you enjoy a more relaxing night time ride by properly lighting up your surroundings.

The L700 comes standard on some of our premium e-bikes such as the eZee Torq Alfine and is compatible with electric bicycles that use 36V batteries.
This light mounts to the hole that is present in the top of the most front forks and has a rigid metal mount for toughness and to make sure that the light doesn't wander around and blind oncoming cyclists. It has two modes, bright and brighter that you easily switch between with the button on top. Hold the button to turn the light off. There is no flashing mode. If you are intending to plug this into your electric bicycle you may have to connect it straight to the battery output or where the battery powers the controllor. This is because existing light outputs from e-bike controllors may not be expecting such a high power light to connect to them. On good e-bikes this will mean the controllor turns the light or the whole bike off for safety. On cheap e-bikes this may mean the thin lighting wire melts and shorts, burning a fuse in the battery or destroying the controllor. If you are buying this for your eZeebike check with us first and supply your serial number. If you bought your eZeebike a long time ago this light may have to be plugged straight into the controllor. If your eZeebike is more recent it can go straight on.
